Liquid barrier treatments typically provide protection for five to ten years depending on soil conditions and the product used. Baiting systems require ongoing monitoring and bait replenishment but provide continuous protection as long as maintained.

For most liquid treatments and baiting system installations, you do not need to vacate your home. Liquid treatments are applied outside in the soil around your foundation.

Consumer termite products cannot effectively reach entire colonies and often just cause termites to relocate within your structure. Professional treatments use products and application methods not available to consumers.

Subterranean termites build mud tubes to travel between soil and wood. Drywood termites live entirely within wood and leave small pellets of frass. Treatment approaches differ significantly between species.
